Kyoto: Two maestros from Odisha’s Puri, Lingaraj Das on Tabla along with Sitar player Satyaban Sethy, mesmerised a gathering of more than 10,000 with their masterly strokes during Kokoka Open Day 2019 at Kyoto, Japan.
The fest, which concluded on Sunday, is being held in this erstwhile capital of Japan since long and is one of the most-acclaimed international festivals of Japan.
The artiste duo was jointly invited by Chandra Sekhar Academy, Kyoto, and India-Japan Friendship Centre to the event. They played for 30 minutes amid continuous cheer and applause from the audience.
The fest was an amalgamation of music, dance, cuisine, fiesta, mimicry and performances by international artistes from all over the world.
The Indian expats drowned in the festive fervour along with people of other communities.
