Mumbai: As the Maharashtra Assembly elections approach, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena faction is ramping up its preparations by appointing key personnel to strengthen its presence across the state. The party has released the first list of assembly in-charges and observers, signaling its readiness for the electoral battle.
In a strategic move, Shiv Sena has appointed in-charges for 46 assembly constituencies, assigning them the responsibility of coordinating party activities and campaigns at the grassroots level. Additionally, observers have been designated for 93 constituencies to oversee and report on the ground situation, ensuring that the party’s strategies are effectively implemented.
The appointments are part of a broader effort by the Shinde-led Shiv Sena to consolidate its support base and mobilise resources ahead of the elections. The party’s leadership believes that having dedicated in-charges and observers will enhance their organisational strength and outreach, providing a clear advantage in the upcoming polls.
The Shiv Sena faction, led by Eknath Shinde, is expected to soon release the list of observers and in-charges for the remaining constituencies, completing its electoral machinery setup. The party’s proactive measures come as political activity intensifies across Maharashtra, with various parties gearing up for what is expected to be a highly contested election.
As the election date draws nearer, all eyes will be on how these strategic appointments will impact Shiv Sena’s performance and its ability to garner support from the electorate.
