New Delhi: Pakistan will host the 2025 Champions Trophy in a hybrid model, with the neighbours playing all their matches in Dubai, which will be fun for cricket lovers. Interest in the India-Pakistan fixture is only second to that in the matches played in the Asia Cup or ICC events. On Tuesday, the International Cricket Co. issued a statement stating that Team India’s matches were available after the first allocation was sold out in just a few hours.
Team India will play all its group-stage matches at the Dubai International Stadium, with Pakistan and New Zealand as formidable opponents. If the team reaches the semi-finals and final, those games will also take place in Dubai. On 3 February, the first batch of tickets went on sale, but fans cleared the limited number of tickets available online and at ticket collection centres in minutes, leaving many disappointed.
As a result, the ICC will open more tickets for fans from 1:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) on 16 February. These tickets will include all the group-stage matches for Team India. Tickets for the first semi-final (Dubai International Cricket Stadium, 4 March) will also be available for a limited period of time. You can buy these from the online and onsite ticket collection centre in the Dubai stadium. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Team India kicks off against Bangladesh on 20 February, and then it’s the Mother of all Matches on 23 February (yes, against Pakistan). Their last game in the group stage will be against New Zealand on 2 March. In case India reaches the semi-finals, the same will be conducted in Dubai on 4 March, while the final will take place on 9 March.
