The popular star shared this eerie incident while promoting her upcoming supernatural thriller film Nikita Roy.
Before this terrifying night, the actress admitted she never believed in ghosts or supernatural entities. However, an unexpected encounter at her residence left her completely shaken and forced her to question her beliefs. Recalling the unsettling event during an interview, she detailed how a strange sensation in the early hours of the morning left her terrified.
The incident took place around four in the morning. Sonakshi described being in a state of semi sleep where her eyes were closed but her mind was active. Suddenly, she felt a heavy pressure on her body, as if someone was trying to wake her up. She explained that she was so terrified that she literally froze in her bed. She was too scared to even open her eyes to check if someone was actually there. The actress remained completely still and did not open her eyes until the morning light filled her room.
The fear gripped her so strongly that she took a rather unusual step the following night. When she returned home late from work, she peeked through her bedroom door and loudly addressed the unseen presence. She requested the entity not to repeat the act, stating that she was extremely scared. She even added that if the entity wanted to communicate, it should do so in her dreams and strictly avoid any face to face interactions.
Fortunately for the actress, she never experienced anything similar after that specific night. Looking back at the spooky incident, she now feels it might have been a harmless ghost or possibly just a very vivid dream.
