Noida: A high voltage drama unfolded in a prominent residential society of Greater Noida West after an ongoing marital dispute escalated into a public brawl. A severe physical altercation took place between a man’s wife and his female friend at the 14th Avenue Society in Gaur City 2, creating a major spectacle for the local residents.
The incident was triggered during a flat shifting process. Reports indicate that the husband and wife have been engaged in a long standing marital dispute, and their case is currently pending in court. On Saturday, the man visited the society to help his female friend pack and move her belongings from her apartment. Somehow, his wife received information about his whereabouts. She trailed him and reached the residential complex, leading to an explosive confrontation.
Upon seeing her husband with another woman, the furious wife lost her temper. A heated argument quickly turned violent as both women began trading blows. They were seen pulling each others hair, pushing, and throwing kicks and punches. Startled bystanders and residents tried to intervene and separate them. During the chaos, a resident captured a 12 second video of the fight on a mobile phone, which rapidly went viral across social media platforms.
Local police officials swung into action immediately after receiving information about the disturbance. Officers from the Bisrakh police station arrived at the scene and escorted all involved parties to the precinct. During initial questioning, neither party was willing to file an official written complaint. They instead agreed to a mutual compromise and expressed their desire to avoid any formal legal proceedings.
However, the rapid circulation of the fight video has prompted further police scrutiny. Bisrakh police station incharge Munendra Singh confirmed that authorities have taken strict cognizance of the viral footage. The police are currently investigating the source of the video and who uploaded it online. Singh stated that both parties will be summoned to the station once again. If any formal complaint is submitted, the police will take appropriate legal action according to the law.
The incident has highlighted the growing number of public disturbances arising from unresolved personal disputes in urban high rise societies. Residents have expressed deep concerns over such violent brawls disrupting the peaceful atmosphere of their gated communities.
