New Delhi: Marking a year since the horrific terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, the international community has come together to express unwavering solidarity with India.

Diplomatic missions from major global powers, including France, the United Kingdom, Israel, and Australia, issued strong statements on Wednesday, paying tribute to the victims of the massacre that shook the nation a year ago.

On this day in 2025, Pakistan-backed terrorists unleashed a brutal attack, gunning down 26 innocent tourists after identifying them by their religion. The incident remains one of the most cold-blooded acts of violence against civilians in recent years.

Leading the global chorus, Australian High Commissioner Philip Green stated on social media, “One year later, we remember the innocent lives lost in the terrible terror attack in Pahalgam. Australia stands against terrorism in all its forms.”

Similarly, the British High Commission reiterated its commitment to peace, asserting that the UK remains steadfast in its partnership with India to ensure global security.

France, alongside the European Union, reaffirmed its resolve to fight the global menace of terrorism. The French Embassy noted that they “join India in remembering the victims,” emphasising a shared commitment to the counter-terrorism struggle. Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar also extended his condolences, stating that Israel remains “firm and unwavering” in its support for India’s stability and security.

The collective message from these nations serves as a poignant reminder of the global isolation of terror-sponsoring entities, as India continues to demand justice for the families devastated by the Pahalgam tragedy.
