Mumbai: Former cricketer and television personality Navjot Singh Sidhu turned deeply emotional at a Netflix India event on February 3, as he passionately advocated for the stars of The Great Indian Kapil Show to be honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri award.
Speaking at the unveiling of Netflix’s 2026 content slate, Sidhu showered praise on Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and the team for their remarkable contribution to spreading joy and laughter across millions of Indian households.
