New Delhi: As the aftermath of Bihar’s Assembly election verdict continues to reverberate, the government formation machinery has accelerated, with key NDA architects convening in the national capital for crucial deliberations. JD(U) heavyweights — Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh (alias Lalan Singh) and party executive president Sanjay Jha — hurried to Delhi on Saturday to huddle with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, signalling an urgent blueprint for the alliance’s triumphant return to power.

The rendezvous at Shah’s residence followed an earlier powwow between the Home Minister and BJP stalwarts, Dharmendra Pradhan and Vinod Tawde, where the trio dissected the poll outcomes and strategised the next steps.

Sources indicated the discussions zeroed in on seamless coalition coordination, cabinet allocations, and leveraging the NDA’s resounding mandate to propel Bihar’s development agenda.

Back in Patna, the buzz was equally palpable. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his 1 Anne Marg residence, extending hearty congratulations on the “overwhelming public support” that delivered the NDA a historic majority. A JD(U) statement captured the warmth: “Chirag Paswan lauded the alliance’s victory as a rejection of divisive forces.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Surat, hailed the win as a watershed moment. “This election showcased the unbeatable MY combine — Mahila and Yuva — fortifying politics for decades. Those guarantors who peddled caste poison for two years were decisively spurned by Bihar’s voters,” he thundered, underscoring the triumph over the Opposition’s caste-based machinations.

As these power parleys unfold, Bihar’s political theatre promises a swift swearing-in, with Nitish Kumar poised to reclaim the helm amid buoyant alliance spirits. The stage is set for governance that prioritises progress over polarisation.
