Mumbai: The crux of the battle between Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) This post examines the annual pricing plans for the two telecom operators based on features offered. To cater to their customers, both companies have come up with good yearly subscription offers, but which company has what it takes?
Jio’s Annual Plan
Jio provides an annual plan with all features for ₹3,599/-, which will give customers everything they want. In terms of validity, this plan offers a mind-boggling 365 days while totalling 912.5 GB of data, which is meant to let the users use 2.5 GB per day. Besides, Jio offers subscribers free subscriptions to Jio Cinema and free lifetime voice calls, free SMS, and one hundred SMS daily.
Vodafone Idea’s Annual Plans
In the additional package, Vodafone Idea offers a tricked annual package of ₹3,599, which comprises annual voice calls and unlimited data. However, data usage per day is comparatively weak at two gigabytes per day. This plan does not involve any subscription to the OTT platforms.
But if the users want to spend a little more, then they can subscribe to another annual plan that costs ₹3,799. This plan also has a one-year validity, offers 2 GB of data usage per day, unlimited voice usage, and 100 SMS usage per day. Surprisingly, this plan includes a subscription to Amazon Prime.

Both brands have come up with the annual plans this time, and even though they may be under slightly different terms and with a different number of days charged monthly, Jio’s Rs 504 plan is excellent with a higher daily limit of data and the additional Jio Cinema offer. On the other hand, the Vodafone Idea plans offer Data mostly unlimited but it is capped on a daily usage and free subscriptions to OTT applications are not offered unless you subscribe to a higher package.
Hence, there is a major determination process that customers undergo, and before choosing which of these two telecom providers to use, the comparison should be done based on individual use and observation.
