Nora Fatehi, Priyanka Chopra Share Harrowing LA Fire Experience

Los Angeles: The perilous wildfires that are eating up the area in Los Angeles have led to the evacuation of more than 130,000 residents, including Bollywood actors Nora Fatehi and Priyanka Chopra, where flames continue to consume thousands of structures across the region.

The Palisades Fire, which started on Tuesday, has burnt more than 15,000 acres so far, and the area is home to various movie stars. This fire is now the most damaging ever in LA’s history, with over 1,000 destroyed structures.

Nora Fatehi shared her horrible incident live via Instagram video about her fast escape after a notification of only five minutes. “I’m in Los Angeles, and the wildfires are crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this,” Fatehi said in her video. The actress was supposed to take a flight out of the danger zone and planned to stay at the airport before boarding the flight.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared a video of her LA mansion, which had a nice view of the hills while there was a fire on a nearby hillside. “My thoughts are with everyone. I hope we are all able to be safe tonight,” Chopra wrote and forced an impact on other people’s minds by thanking firefighters and rescue workers for their service.

The situation is still charged with danger, as firefighters from various neighbouring states have come to help fight the many blazes in the area. The fires, driven by high winds, resulted in the cutting of electricity for a wide area that affects hundreds of thousands of residents.

Along with the increasing number of local residents who are being evacuated, the authorities are also opening up evacuation routes as the fires remain a threat after the Palisades Fire manages to both invade residential areas and endanger historic landmarks in one of California’s rich neighbourhoods.
