Shimla: Rishabh Pant’s sister’s wedding has become a talking point as it reunites many of the cricketing greats from India together under a roof. Sakshi is reportedly marrying her long-time boyfriend, London-based businessman Ankit Choudhary, on March 12. The ceremony is in Mussoorie and has generated a lot of buzz with fans noticing cricket greats such as Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, in attendance.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of India, appeared to be enjoying himself at the wedding celebrations. Former India captain Dhoni dancing with his wife during a performance given by singer Hardy Sandhu recently surfaced on the internet. The couple then also followed the sound of the night as they grooved and danced to Sandhu’s popular number Na Goriye, as can be seen in multiple videos from the wedding festivity. A few minutes back, another video of Dhoni dancing to the tune of “Damadam Mast Kalandar” with Rishabh Pant and Suresh Raina had gone viral.
Sakshi Pant is a social media sensation; she has more than 2 lakh followers. Everyone has been eagerly waiting for her wedding since the time she announced her engagement with Ankit Choudhary last year. In January 2024, the couple, who had been together for nine years, announced their engagement in London. Dhoni was also present at their engagement ceremony.
Haldi performances in a Holi ki tarah hungama have been the highlight of the wedding festivities. In addition to Dhoni and Raina, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and other cricketing personalities are likely to attend the wedding.
