Miracle In Vrindavan? Kohli’s Ashram Visit Could Change Everything!

Lucknow: Virat Kohli, the star cricketer from India, and his wife, Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood actress, have done it again, which is seeking spiritual peace amid their professional troubles. The couple, embraced with their daughters Vamika and Akaay, visited the prominent spiritual guru Premanand Ji Maharaj at his ashram in Vrindavan on Friday, 10 January.

This visit comes after Kohli’s unsatisfactory score in the recent Test series against Australia, where he only managed to gather 190 runs in nine innings. Nevertheless, the cricketer’s belief appears to be unshaken in spite of the difficulties he faces on the field.

While meeting with Anushka, the actress shared her wish for devotion and love, and the spiritual leader noted down some words of wisdom and encouraging comments to the couple. The spiritual figure commended them for choosing to work on devotion after they had achieved tremendous success, calling it a peculiar thing to do.

Referring to Kohli’s recent performance, the spiritual leader, Premanand Ji Maharaj, found a parallel with meditation and said that cricket is a way of meditation for the player. He told Kohli to concentrate unwaveringly on his practice, saying, “His devotion is to strengthen his practice, even if it’s a sport. It brings joy to all of India. We must focus on the strength of our practice. Our practice should never diminish, and we should remember the divine name in between. This is his spiritual practice.”.

The visit has created a buzz among cricket enthusiasts, just like the time Kohli visited the ashram on 6 January 2023. After that visit, he scored a splendid century against Sri Lanka and continued to have a great year, like breaking the run-scoring records at the 2023 World Cup.

As Kohli readies himself for the impending ODI series against England and the ICC Champions Trophy, fans are optimistic this spiritual pilgrimage will signal a return to form for him.
