Lucknow: The murder of Saurabh Rajput in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, continues to reveal shocking details every day. Muskan and her boyfriend Sahil Shukla brutally murdered Saurabh, and the injuries on his body bear witness to the horror. The police conducted a post-mortem and released the report, revealing numerous deep cuts on Saurabh’s body. The post-mortem report states that Saurabh’s body had decomposed fully, and the skin had been totally peeled off.
He had wounds on his neck, and there was a 7 cm deep wound below his ear. He also sustained cuts to his windpipe and deep wounds on his chest. Both his arms had injury marks. Sharp weapon wounds had totally destroyed many blood vessels, leading to heavy blood loss. From medical professionals, body parts were buried in a drum that was both filled with water and cement that damaged the body parts further when dismembered.
In London, Saurabh worked at a bakery and had previously served in the merchant navy. He came back to India on February 24 to ring in his wife Muskan’s birthday after two years. He marked the birthday with her, but a week later, Muskan, along with her boyfriend Sahil, brutally killed him. The police arrested both Muskan and Sahil and locked them up in jail.
Senior Jail Superintendent Veeresh Raj Sharma confirmed that both Sahil and Muskan are drug addicts, and the jail authorities are counselling them so that they can overcome the habit. There is no communication between them inside the jail. Muskan has sought government counsel for herself and has penned a letter to the Senior Jail Superintendent seeking aid.
Sharma further stated that Muskan’s family are also frustrated with her actions, and none of her family members are backing her in this case. None of the families of Muskan and Sahil have come to visit them in the jail till now.
The police, as per the report, after killing Saurabh, had chopped his body into pieces. Both of them slept after committing the crime. Muskan had put Saurabh’s upper body on her bed and slept there, whereas Sahil slept beside the severed limbs. Both of them went on a trip to Shimla and Manali after that. The police also recorded the driver’s statement from the car that they had hired for the journey.
