Jat Community Rallies in Support of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Following Disrespectful Remarks

New Delhi: The Jat community has come together in a display of solidarity following derogatory remarks made by TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee towards Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Dhankhar, who is also the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, expressed his hurt and disappointment at the disrespectful comments.

In response, members of the Jat community have organised protests against Banerjee, condemning his actions and demanding an apology. Jat community leaders have asserted that they will not tolerate insults directed at the Vice President of their country.

Sukhchain Singh, a prominent member of the Jat community, denounced Banerjee’s behaviour, emphasising that it was not just an insult to Dhankhar personally but also to the entire farming community. Singh condemned the mockery of Dhankhar’s family background as a farmer and called for accountability from those involved.

The Palam 360 Khap president, Chaudhary Surendra Solanki, convened a meeting in Delhi’s Dwarka area to address the issue. Pradhans and presidents of various villages and khaps of the farmer and Jat community attended the meeting. The main concern was the need for an apology from TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee and Rahul Gandhi, failing which a Maha Panchayat would be organised in Dwarka on December 24th at 11:00 AM.

Jat leaders have declared their readiness to take further action, including a potential Delhi chakka jam or gherao of the houses of the leaders and MPs involved in the incident. They have emphasised their determination to prevent anyone who shows disrespect towards farmers from entering Delhi.

The remarks made by Banerjee have sparked outrage among the Jat community, which sees them as an insult to the farming community as a whole. The upcoming Maha Panchayat is expected to chart out a strategy for further action and demand accountability from those responsible for the disrespectful remarks.
