Vrindavan: The mysterious death of Rasik Dulari Sharan, a 25-year-old disciple of the renowned spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj, has taken a shocking turn following the release of his postmortem report. The deceased, originally identified as Deepak Lodhi from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, allegedly died after jumping from the fourth floor of the Guru Kripa Kunj apartment building in Vrindavan.
According to the autopsy findings, the primary cause of death has been recorded as hemorrhagic shock resulting from excessive blood loss. The medical report detailed severe and gruesome injuries across his body. A hairline fracture was discovered in his skull, alongside a deep wound on the back of his head that required 14 stitches. Additionally, cuts on his chin and lower lip were also stitched during medical intervention.
The severe physical trauma extended to his torso and limbs. The postmortem confirmed fractures in the fifth to eighth ribs on his left side, a ruptured left lung, and blood clotting in the chest cavity. A 5×1 centimetre wound was found on his leg, accompanied by an underlying bone fracture.
Most distressingly, the medical examination formally noted that the victim’s private part was severed from his body, with a stitched wound present at the base. Police investigators probing the disturbing case recovered a blood-stained electric grinder from room number 21, where the deceased resided. According to law enforcement, CCTV footage reportedly showed the young disciple walking out of his room in blood-soaked clothes, climbing the stairs to the fourth-floor terrace, briefly lying down, and subsequently jumping to his death.
Mathura Police are investigating all angles to determine the exact sequence of events. “We have seized the electric grinder and sent it to the forensic laboratory for further examination. We are thoroughly analysing the CCTV DVR, mobile phone records, and blood samples to ascertain the truth,” stated a police official connected to the probe.
Meanwhile, the grieving family members of the deceased have expressed strong suspicions regarding the horrific circumstances leading up to his death, demanding a high-level and transparent investigation into the incident. The authorities are currently trying to uncover what compelled the young ascetic to inflict such extreme harm upon himself before the fatal fall.
