Haryana Government Implements Major Administrative Reshuffle

Chandigarh: Late Tuesday night, the Haryana government executed a major administrative reorganisation when it distributed transfer and posting mandates for IAS, IPS, and HCS officers. Various departments received significant organisational changes through promotions and job assignments of senior officials.

IPS Pankaj Nain Promoted as Special Officer to CMO

IPS officer Pankaj Nain of the 2007 batch dedicated to fitness has received a promotion and now serves as a Special Officer in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Nain previously worked under former CM Manohar Lal Khattar as a Special Officer to perform his duties, but he now performs the same role for CM Nayab Singh Saini. He is one of 11 IPS officers who received promotions and new postings.

Changes in IAS Assignments

IAS Sudhir Rajpal supports the CMO while performing his new responsibility as Additional Chief Secretary for the Women and Child Welfare Department.

Amneet P. Kumar has now taken charge of the Fisheries Department since his promotion to the 2001 batch IAS service.

HCS Transfers

The most significant HCS officer relocation recently occurred when the government moved 67 personnel into new positions. The administrative officials received their role changes as the municipal elections approached.

During his time as Superintendent of Police, Jhajjar Nain became a national figure by posting a fitness video to social media in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fitness contest. PM Modi retweeted Nain’s video, which produced national recognition for his fitness promotion activities targeting police personnel.
