Mumbai: While driving on the Mumbai roads yet another threat has been issued to Bollywood actor Salman Khan (Bhaijaan) this time through the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police. The threat was made by a man who says that he is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi group and for a longstanding rivalry between the Khan and the head of the gang, the abductor has demanded money of 5 crores.
The threatening message was clear, the sender advised Salman Khan not to take the issue lightly, else he would finish him off in a similar fashion to Baba Siddique who was recently killed. Siddique one of Khan’s friends was killed on the seat on 12th October in a shooting incident that the Bishnoi gang said they carried out. Four suspects have been arrested in connexion with the murder.
A Long-Standing Feud
As long as there has been a Salman Khan, there has been the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to match it. The gang has threatened the actor’s life severally and, in one occasion, members of the gang fired bullets outside of Khan’s home. The latter has recently been associated with the murder of Baba Siddique, who was a close friend of Khan.
As he said after Siddique’s death, it was planned to be used as pressure to scare Salman Khan into submission To. due to this reason, security around the actor’s home has been tight and his family has advised all close friends and associates to avoid visiting him for they might be next targets.
Measures of safety if developed at Panvel Farmhouse
Besides using security cameras and guards at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments house, the police in Navi Mumbai increased security at the Khan’s Panvel farmhouse. More security has been posted on and within the premises to counter against the Bishnoi gang which had scoped the farmhouse. However, while they have attempted to target the farmhouse previously, they have never been successful they have never got it right. The only attempt so far has been made at Khan’s residence in Mumbai where the firing took place.
He also added that a shooter was arrested over attempt to assassination Sheikh Hamad Khan.
The latest arrest made in connexion with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is Sukha, the shooter who was nabbed by Navi Mumbai’s Crime Branch from Panipat, Haryana. Sukha has an FIR against him presently and he is said to be involved in the shooting incident at Salman Khan residence. What is more, he was in the team that conducted surveillance of Khan’s Panvel farmhouse.
The gang had earlier put a ₹25 lakh reward on Khan’s head and Sukha being given the job to complete the operation. The assault on the farm house was going to be well coordinated with Sukha as the main trigger man. Nonetheless, the unfortunate gang meant evil before the plan could be executed to its evil course.
