Chaos in Kazan: Ukraine’s Drone Offensive Shocks Russia

Kazan: In the most recent and perhaps the most dangerous incident, Ukraine attacked a Russian city of Kazan using a large number of drones at the break of dawn on Saturday morning attacking a multi-storey building. Nevertheless, the Russian authorities stated that the attack had been prevented by them, there were reports of damage in eight areas, and the atmosphere remained tense.

The attack, which resembled the terrorism of the 9/11 in the United States in terms of the approach it was conducted in, caused uproar throughout the city of Kazan. Offices were evacuated, classes suspended and businesses shut down. In a bid to contain the novel coronavirus outbreak, the government of Russia’s Tatarstan region called off all mass activities for the next two consecutive days. On the brighter side, there has been no loss of life documented.

Ukraine responded in kind to Russian attacks on Kyiv’s residential districts the previous day, making this a fairly aggressive move. Just before 7:At 30 AM Moscow time, many drones attacked, increasing the confrontation between the two countries.
