Mumbai: Ever since Zoya Akhtar announced ‘The Archies’, there has been tremendous interest on the film. Not because it features a galaxy of magastars, but the film brings together a number of newcomers who happen to be celebrity kids.
And now, the much-awaited trailer of ‘The Archies’ is out.
Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana, Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s son Agastya and late Sridevi’s younger daughter and Janhavi Kapoor’s sister Khushi are all making their maiden cinema appearances in this coming-of-age film based on the popular Archie comics.
Produced by Tiger Baby Productions and directed by Zoya, ‘The Archies’ is a musical film on the lives of happy-go-lucky teenagers at Riverdale, a quaint hill station.
Set in the 1960s, the story is about Archie and the gang, and their romance, friendship and the future of Riverdale as developers threaten to destroy a much-loved park.

In the film, Agastya plays Archie Andrews, Khushi is Betty Cooper and Suhana is Veronica Lodge.
The Archies will be released on Netflix on December 7.
The celebrity kids apart, the film also features Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Dot as Ethel Muggs and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.
