New Delhi: Another Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft, carrying 213 Indian students from Ukraine, arrived at the Hindan airbase in Ghaziabad near New Delhi on Friday afternoon.
Earlier on Friday morning, a special flight, carrying 242 Indian students who were stranded in Ukraine’s Sumy, arrived from Poland.
Prerna, a student who arrived here on that flight, told ANI: “Ours’ was the last evacuation. We could only get out after ceasefires were announced. Before that, there was bombing and shelling all around. But the Indian Embassy and others helped us evacuate safely and provided buses and trains.”
