Bhubaneswar: Security personnel thwarted a suicide bid by a youth in front of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaiks residence here on Wednesday.
According to sources, the youth attempted to hang himself in front of the Naveen Niwas. The reason: He is yet to get his Plus II certificate even after 10 years of passing the examination. He had appeared for the board exam in 2008.
“It is very frustrating. I will end my life if I don’t get the certificate at the earliest,” he said.
