New Delhi: It’s a heads-down world. Everywhere, people are lost in their smartphones. On the road, in public places, in their SUVs, while commuting, inside homes. In our need to stay connected, the biggest casualty has been human relationships. Parents are missing out on being fully present in their children’s lives.
Smartphone maker Vivo has launched the third edition of its #SwitchOff campaign with a new ad, in which actor Jimmy Shergill #Switches Off to spend time with his son, who tells his father that perhaps he has become boring because his best friend (his father) doesn’t talk to him.
The campaign is founded on the Vivo-CyberMedia Research (CMR) study ‘Impact of Smartphones on Human Relationships 2021’.
As we get ready for a New Year, a fresh start, let's choose to switch off and find greater joy in connecting with our loved ones.#HappyNewYear #SwitchOff pic.twitter.com/MoPmnqu84C
