New Delhi: The Indian Railways is planning to run more special trains and is consulting state governments regarding the same.
More than 100 more trains are reportedly being planned.
Train services which were suspended from March 25, have been up and running in phases beginning with Shramik Special trains.
Around 100 pairs of timetabled trains were restarted from June 1.
Metro services will be resumed from September 7.
States are no longer permitted to impose lockdowns outside containment zones without Centre’s approval.
