Trump’s Blunt Message To Allies: No Help Next Time If You Skip Iran Mission

Washington: US President Donald Trump has issued a clear warning that America will remember who supported it and who did not during the ongoing Iran conflict.
His direct message has caught the attention of leaders in European capitals and beyond.

During the crisis caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump criticised allies such as the United Kingdom and France for not joining the US-led campaign against Iran. He pointed out that France refused airspace to American military supply planes heading to Israel, and the UK decided not to take part in the mission that targeted Iran’s top leadership.

Trump made a strong statement, saying, “All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom… I have a suggestion for you.” He suggested they either buy oil from America or “show some courage” and go to the Strait themselves to secure their supplies. He also said the US has done the hardest part in Iran, and now others need to protect their own energy needs and security.

The President posted on Truth Social: “America will never forget” those who did not help during this difficult time. Several senior Iranian leaders have already been eliminated in the first four weeks of the conflict, and Tehran’s remaining leadership is struggling to communicate safely. Trump made it clear that future American support is not guaranteed for countries that stayed out of the conflict, as the Hormuz blockade pushes up oil prices.

For many observers, this is classic Trump — mixing tough talk with a clear message to allies: loyalty works both ways. Whether this pushes Europe closer or widens the transatlantic rift remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Washington is keeping score.
