New Delhi: Donald Trump Jr, the elder son of US President Donald Trump, fulfilled a long-cherished dream on Thursday as he marvelled at the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
This left the American businessman utterly spellbound by its timeless grandeur.
Accompanied by his daughter Kai Madison Trump and a small entourage, Don Jr arrived in Agra early Thursday morning and spent over two hours exploring the white marble mausoleum built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Dressed casually in a blue shirt and trousers, he clicked selfies against the iconic dome. He posed in the reflecting pool and even tried the famous “Diana bench” spot.
“Wow Taj!” he exclaimed repeatedly, visibly awestruck. Sharing pictures on Instagram, he wrote: “Finally made it to the Taj Mahal – absolutely stunning! A true wonder of the world.” The post quickly became viral, drawing lakhs of likes within hours.
Don Jr revealed that visiting the Taj Mahal has been on his bucket list for years. “My father always spoke of its beauty. Seeing it in person is something else – the symmetry, the craftsmanship, the love story behind it – incredible,” he told reporters before departing for Delhi.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed him virtually, highlighting India’s warm ties with the Trump family. Tourism officials said such high-profile visits would boost Agra’s global appeal.
As Don Jr headed back, the Taj Mahal once again proved why it remains the ultimate symbol of eternal love and architectural perfection.
