New Delhi: The Indian government seems to have run out of patience with UK. In a tit for tat, the Centre is set to put in place strict COVID-19 regulations for British citizens travelling to India.
Come October 4, all UK nationals arriving in India from the UK, irrespective of their vaccination status, will have to undertake the COVID-19 RT-PCR test within 72 hours before travel, RT-PCR test on arrival at airport and another test on Day 8 after arrival, NDTV reported quoting government sources.
Not just the multiple tests, UK nationals will also have to undergo mandatory quarantine at home or at the destination address for 10 days after arrival.
These regulations are similar to those imposed by the UK government for Indians travelling to that country.
