Mumbai: Fans of the popular espionage thriller The Family Man have a reason to rejoice, as actress Nimrat Kaur has dropped a highly anticipated update about the show’s fourth season. The Amazon Prime Video series, headlined by Manoj Bajpayee as the beloved undercover agent Srikant Tiwari, is widely regarded as one of the most successful franchises in the Indian OTT space, celebrated for its gripping storyline, suspense, and stellar performances.
During a recent interview with Mid-Day, Nimrat Kaur, who delivered a powerful performance in the series, provided some much-needed insight into the current status of The Family Man Season 4. While the actress refrained from revealing any major plot details, she confirmed that the creative team is actively developing the next chapter of the critically acclaimed show.
Speaking about the upcoming season, Nimrat stated, “I wish I knew a bit more about it. But I am pretty sure they are scripting it right now. That’s what I have heard. I have not been in direct touch with the team, so I am pretty sure they are putting their heads down and writing it.”
The actress also cautioned fans that the process might take a while, adding, “As always, it will take a little extra time because we had a fairly long wait for the previous season as well.” The series creators, Raj & DK, are known for their meticulous writing and research, which often results in extended gaps between seasons. Manoj Bajpayee has already confirmed that the fourth instalment is officially in the works.
Beyond her professional updates, Nimrat also took a trip down memory lane, fondly recalling her childhood Diwali celebrations. Being the daughter of an Army officer, her early years were spent in various military cantonments across the country. She highlighted that for her, the festival of lights has always been synonymous with simplicity and family bonding.
Sharing her nostalgic memories, Nimrat noted, “Wherever we were posted, I would go to the local market with my dad and definitely buy sparklers, flower pots, and ground spinners. These three things were my all-time favourites.”
As the scripting for The Family Man Season 4 continues, viewers are eagerly waiting to see what high-stakes mission awaits Srikant Tiwari and his Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC) team in the next thrilling adventure.
