India Surpasses Japan To Become World’s Third Largest Auto Market
India surpassed Japan in auto sales in 2023. According to the latest industry data, India is now the third-largest auto market. Sales of new vehicles in India totalled about 4.25 million units, topping the 4.2 million sold in Japan.
