Sushant Case: Shekhar Suman Does A U-Turn, Says CBI Has Done A Fair Job

Mumbai: After questioning the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) for delay in submitting a conclusive report in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman has done a U-turn.

Shekhar took to his Twitter handle on Saturday to defend investigating agencies CBI, ED and NCB, and stated that all agencies have done a fair job in the Sushant case.

The actor remarked that the investigating agencies are helpless and are unable to draw a conclusion because of lack of evidence in the Sushant case.

“I think in Sushant’s case all the three depts of CBI, NCB and ED have done a fair job of interrogation, investigation and arrest but I guess because of the lack of any evidence they are helpless. So we have to just wait and see if they get lucky,” tweeted Shekhar.

Last week, Shekhar had urged the CBI to come up with a conclusive report in the Sushant case.

“It’s been so long the CBI has not come up with any conclusive evidence or inference regarding Sushant Singh’s case. Will the authorities plz care to update us. Silence for a while doesn’t mean we have given up or forgotten about it,” Shekhar had tweeted.

Shekhar has been a part of the brigade seeking justice for Sushant, who was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14.

Shekhar had also visited Sushant’s grieving family members in Patna.
