New Delhi: The Supreme Court will on Monday hear petitions seeking a probe into the Hindenburg report on the Adani Group.
In a scathing report, the US-based short-seller accused the Gautam Adani-headed conglomerate of stock manipulation, accounting fraud and other irregularities.
The Supreme Court also suggested that a panel for regulatory framework be set up.

Adani Group dismissed all allegations in a 413-page detailed response, but the Hindenburg report still triggered panic selling, leading to a massive erosion in share prices of Adani Group’s listed companies in the last fortnight.
Hindenburg report had political ramifications, too, with Opposition parties demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation into the allegations made against Adani.
