Mumbai: Lately, Shraddha Kapoor is rejoicing with Stree 2 which has created all round magic at the box office; apart from that the actress said how she has changed her ways of choosing her films. It was a few weeks ago at the screen launch event when Kapoor talked about her latest movie, the decision to appear in fewer films, and the plans for Stree 3.
Unlike its first part helmed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 broke many records and has been appreciated by public and critics. The lead heroine, Katrina Kapoor, who did repeat her role in the much laughed horror-comedy series, thanked the film and its audience for success and shared her new perspective on her choice of films.
On this journey of asking why Shraddha Kapoor is doing one film every three years, one can add multiple reasons.
Recalling her limited number of songs, the singer said, ‘Honestly I think my best is yet to come. To this end, I want to be in a position where whenever i assume a certain project, whether it is challenging or not I am challenged as an actor and the audience benefits from the challenge. She said there was a time she was doing one picture after another, now it is a picture in three years.”
The hugely popular Bollywood actress, who has starred in recent movies called Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Baaghi 3, admitted that she enjoys this pace. Another is if a student says somethink l ike ‘‘I’ve come to a point where I feel at ease with the pace.’’ I would like to join those projects in which I would feel comfortable as an actor and I could experiment. “I am certainly aiming at something new and not necessarily something that I have offered before,” she said.
No Rush for the Next Project
However, Kapoor said that while Stree 2 may have been a hit, it wasn’t immediately followed by the announcement of the next film. “It is not a question of packing up its programming list. I have not even declared my next project and that’s perfectly fine. Preparing a movie is not an easy process as it may involve so many processes that may take month to complete. As long as I don’t feel soul-mated with a role, she said, then she has no problem waiting.
Good news is here to confirm that Stree 3 is in the process of production
As fans would love it, Shraddha Kapoor revealed that the shoot for Stree 3 has already commenced. So when Amar sir came to me and said he has the story for Stree 3, I was excited. It’s going to be something fantastic, and I am excited about what it will be about,” Kapoor said.
Stree 2 is current rhythm still on screen so audience is eagerly waiting for next part of the movie. Few actors have prominent roles in this new film under the Maddock Films production by Raj and DK – Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana while featuring brief appearances from Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia.
