Mumbai: In a heartwarming display of devotion and festive fervour, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited Mumbai’s most iconic Ganesh pandal, Lalbaugcha Raja, on Monday. The actor was accompanied by his wife, renowned interior designer Gauri Khan, and their daughter, actress Suhana Khan, to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
The much-revered Lalbaugcha Raja, located in central Mumbai and established in 1934, is famously hailed as the ‘Navasacha Ganpati’ or the wish-fulfilling deity. It draws millions of devotees every year, and the Khan family’s presence added a touch of star-studded grandeur to the vibrant 11-day festival.
Dressed elegantly for the auspicious occasion, Shah Rukh Khan was seen folding his hands and bowing his head in deep reverence before the majestic idol. Visuals from the event show the actor warmly interacting with the pandal organisers and the attending priests after offering his prayers.
As the family made their way towards the exit, they were met with a sea of ecstatic fans.
