New Delhi: Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e in India on Wednesday, a week after the global unveil in San Francisco. As expected, the S10 is loaded with new features such as ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor that identifies fake 2D & 3D fingerprints, ‘hole-punch’ selfie cameras, Dynamic AMOLED displays with HDR10+ that emits 42 per cent less blue light (safer for eyes), Fast Wireless charging, Wireless PowerShare (reverse charging to charge other phones and wireless earphones and devices) and AI features such as Adaptive Power battery life optimization according to usage.

Samsung is betting big on its new Dynamic AMOLED displays which have a peak brightness of 1200 nits, with blue light reduction features and improved outdoor visibility.
The S10 and S10+ have a Samsung first ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, while the compact S10e has a normal capacitive fingerprint reader on the rear.
The S10+ has Vapor Chamber cooling for improved performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 is available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, and Prism White colour variants. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, and Prism White colour variants, as well as Ceramic Black and Ceramic White.
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S10e will be available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, and Prism White colour variants, apart from Canary Yellow.
S10 (starts from Rs. 66,900)
The S10 has a 19:9 6.1-inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 550ppi pixel density. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC in some regions and the Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC in some. The Exynos will make it to India most likely. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and either 128GB or 512GB of internal storage. It will also have expandable storage (up to 512GB).
Camera wise, the S10 has a triple rear camera consisting of a 12MP wide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide fixed focus lens with dual OIS. It has 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. The front camera is a single 10-MP sensor.
It will also have a heart rate sensor. It is powered by a 3,400mAh battery. It measures 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm, and weighs 157 grams. It will be available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Prism White, Ceramic Black and Ceramic White colours.
S10+ (starts from Rs. 73,900)
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has a larger 6.4-inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic. The change is in the front selfie camera which is dual camera unit. It also comes in 1TB internal storage version apart from 128GB and 512GB. It has a 4,100mAh battery. It measures 157.6×74.1×7.8mm, and weighs 175 grams. It will come in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, and Prism White colours.
S10e (starts from Rs. 55,900)
The cheapest of the lot, S10e has a 5.8-inch full-HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display and has 6GB/8GB RAM options. Camera wise, it has a dual rear camera setup instead of 3. It is powered by a 3,100mAh battery. It measures 142.2×69.9×7.9mm and weighs 150 grams. It will come in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Prism White and Canary Yellow colour options.
