Saif Ali Khan’s Harrowing Experience: Intruder Attack In Mumbai Home

Mumbai: Early on January 16, a disturbing episode involving Saif Ali Khan from Bollywood sparked numerous questions about the nighttime events. Saif Ali Khan shared his first statements since the assault with Mumbai police forces in a comprehensive report. The Bandra police took Saif Ali Khan’s testimony about the knife attack to document his descriptions of the troubling incidents.

Saif and Kareena Kapoor remained in their 11th-floor bedroom when they heard Eliyama Philip, their nurse, screaming. Saif details how he ran with his wife towards their son Jahangir’s room, where Eliyama also rested when they heard such screams. There, they encountered an intruder. At that moment Jahangir began crying, so Saif responded by taking the attacker down before making him harmless. While battling the assailant, Saif took multiple stab wounds that penetrated his back before extending to his neck along with other body areas.

According to Saif, he fought an assailant to defend himself, which caused him multiple critical injuries across his back and neck and other parts of his body. Being badly wounded did not stop Saif from shoving the man who attacked him away.

Saif Ali Khan received medical treatment at Lilavati Hospital before his doctors authorised his transfer for recovery at home. An auto driver hurried Saif to the hospital as his friend Afsar Zaidi handled the required hospital procedures. Afsar Zaidi, a close family friend of the Pataudis, received a call from Saif’s family around 3:A call at 3:30 AM came from Saif Ali Khan’s family to advise Zaidi about the incident while instructing him to reach the hospital.

Zaidi showed up at the hospital shortly after 4 AM. Zaidi waited until being contacted to help with hospital admission procedures after Saif was already transported by hospital staff. One of the hospital staff members had driven Saif to receive medical attention. The family has instructed Zaidi, according to his statement, not to communicate with media reporters.
