Mumbai: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Thursday alleged systematic destruction of evidence in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle, he wrote: “There was systematic destruction in the evidence. This requires painstaking reconstruction. Since SSR was cremated the next day, toughest is the re-evaluation of the Cooper Hospital autopsy report. So circumstantial evidence obtained by CBI and confessions got to have to fill the gap.”

On Wednesday, he had said that the AIIMS postmortem report cannot ascertain if the death of Sushant Singh Rajput happened due to suicide or murder because the hospital never had his body.
Some Police officials are briefing the media that the AIIMS post mortem will decide whether it is murder or suicide. How can they when they did not have the SSR body as in the case of Sunanda? At most AIIMS report can show what was done or not done by Dr.Cooper Hospital doctors.

The preliminary postmortem report of Sushant Singh Rajput’s body had stated it as death due to suicide. However, no suicide note was found in his Mumbai apartment where his body was found hanging from a ceiling fan on June 14.
The former union minister had earlier accused the Mumbai Police of being complicit in the case and had hinted at the involvement of Dubai-based professional killers in the late actor’s death.
In July, Swamy had advocated for a CBI probe into Sushant’s. The noted Supreme Court lawyer had said he would pursue the case if the deceased actor’s family agreed to come forward and demand a CBI probe.
