Bengaluru: Parents work hard to secure a superior lifestyle for their kids by sending them to private schools at high costs to obtain better educational quality. Various private educational institutions have begun exploiting public education needs by enforcing high admission costs. A post circulating heavily exposes the problem with a Bengaluru private school that demands ₹2.1 lakh per year for third-grade education.
The Voice of Parents Association released an in-depth fee analysis through social media which demonstrated ₹1.9 lakh allocated to tuition along with ₹9,000 for annual fees and ₹11,449 tagged as “Impress” to achieve a total of ₹2.1 lakh. Parents expressed strong frustration on social media when learning about the high fees charged to young students.
Private schools face criticism from associations of parents who claim that these institutions treat education as a business. Schools legally establish institutions under Articles 29, 30 and 19(1)(g) yet require governmental regulatory controls and set-up fee determination committees to prevent exploitation.
Users started sharing their opinions when the post gained massive popularity. Running educational facilities with top-notch infrastructure entails high costs although government schools and their quality levels represent the optimal solution. The choice of government schools by prosperous individuals leads to their higher quality standards.
