Mumbai: Section 144 has been imposed in Mumbai from December 30 to January 7 amid rising COVID and Omicron cases.
Mumbai recorded 2,510 COVID cases over the last 24 hours.
Maharashtra COVID Task Force member Dr Shashank Joshi said that the third wave may have started in Mumbai. But he said that there is no need to panic as all cases are mild and hospital infrastructure isn’t overwhelmed.
