Bhubaneswar: A 12-year-old female nilgai and an inmate of Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP), on outskirts of the city, died on Thursday.
The Asian antelope was suffering from illness and undergoing treatment for the past few days.
The zoo has 21 nilgai, including 4 male and 2 calves.
