Hajipur: In a fiery address at a public rally in Hajipur, Bihar, BJP President and Union Health Minister J P Nadda launched a scathing attack on the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan, accusing it of plunging the state into an era of lawlessness.
Targeting RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi, Nadda redefined RJD as “Rangdari, Jungle Raj, and Dadagiri”— a stinging acronym for extortion, anarchy, and thuggery.
Recalling the dark days of Lalu’s 15-year reign, Nadda claimed he witnessed rampant crime firsthand, including stolen vehicles turning up at the Chief Minister’s residence. “Kidnappings of doctors and lawyers, extortion rackets, and gunfire were routine. Negotiations for ransom happened at the CM’s house,” he alleged, painting a grim picture of Bihar’s past under RJD rule.
Nadda contrasted these events with the NDA’s development-driven governance, spotlighting schemes like the Chief Minister’s Women Employment Programme, which has empowered 75 lakh women with Rs 10,000 each for self-employment. He hailed Bihar as the sacred land of Lord Mahavir, Buddha, Aryabhatta, and Chanakya, urging voters to reject the RJD’s “family-centric and appeasement politics” in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Taking aim at Tejashwi’s comments on migration, Nadda reminded the audience of Lalu’s remark that Biharis left with a towel and returned in suits, accusing the RJD’s misrule of forcing migration. He lauded PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, citing India’s economic strides and decisive actions, like Operation Sindoor, which struck terrorists in Pakistan. “Under Modi, India doesn’t wait for foreign approval to act,” he thundered, rallying support for a secure, progressive Bihar.
