Modi Congratulates Trump On Victory – A New Chapter For The India-US Relations

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Donald Trump after he won the new term in the US presidential race. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Modi shared a photo of himself with Trump, accompanied by a message: Hi my friend, I want to convey my sincere congratulation to you on this historic electoral victory. Together we must strive to support our populations, and enhance global security, stability and prosperity.

Speaking further, Modi extended congratulations to Trump for his many achievements in his first term and agreed on enhancing the India-US bilateral comprehensive global and strategic partnership. He said, “As you continue to advance beyond the successes of your first term of office, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work with you again to strengthen the India-US relationship.” For the good of our people and to improve world peace, order and prosperity let us join forces!

At the same time, the newly elected 47 th President of the United States was complimentary about Elon Musk, CEO of a relatively new automaker Tesla. In his last speech to celebrate his victory, Trump said that a star has risen on that day. He also spoke to his fans, calling the election a historical political win for America. Trump said to the crowd, “I am with you every single day, every single hour, every single minute, every single second until the very last breath of my life. I have no intention of retiring until I create the safe, fortified, and competent America people’s children need. No war, no more,” we will say.

Trump moved on to express words of gratitude for the electorate in swing states, assuring that he will keep on struggling for the future of these people’s families and themselves. He attributed his win to their support, and the next four years he called it the Golden Days for America. “The people have given us a strong mandate,” he added.

In his acceptance speech after getting elected into office Trump thanked the American people. “Thank you, Americans. That’s right,” he said, “We haven’t seen a time like this any time in history. The new wall symbolized the power that Trump promised to rebuild America, make the border stronger and solve all the country’s problems.
