Hyderabad: Both in her personal life and career, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise owner Kavya Maran has attracted much attention. She is regularly involved in all team decisions, but the previous few weeks have seen her in the press because of allegedly romantic ties. There is a lot of talk about Kavya Maran’s alleged affair with hit music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander.
Stories of their allegedly close relationship have been floating around. Anirudh is a big name in South Indian films and Bollywood. He is well-known for his work in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. He emerged on the scene providing music for Shah Rukh Khan’s hit film Jawan, which grossed more than ₹1000 crore. Ravi Raghavendra, a popular actor, has a son named Anirudh who comes from here.
With his viral song “Why This Kolaveri Di”, Anirudh shot to fame. Born on October 16, 1990, he charges several crores for a movie and is among the top-paid composers of music for Indian cinema. Hindustan Times claims he demanded ₹10 crore for Jawan’s music, even surpassing prominent composers like A.R. Rahman and Pritam, who charge ₹5-8 crore for a movie.
Anirudh’s name is now associated with Kavya Maran, despite his rather successful musical career. Sources, however, show that Anirudh’s team refutes the relationship rumours and emphasises that they are just friends.
