John Abraham’s The Diplomat Continues Strong Run, Crosses 25 Crore Mark

Mumbai: Bollywood actor John Abraham’s film The Diplomat released on March 14, 2025. Even though it’s been one and a half weeks since the release, Veda, the last film of John’s, still stands with collections of merely a week for the movie. The Diplomat has earned over Rs 25 crore in its ten-day box office collection.

The Diplomat had opened to collect 4.03 crore rupees on day one and 4.68 crore rupees on day two. It made 4.74 crore on Day 3, 1.53 crore on Day 4, and 1.51 crore on Day 5. On day 6, it seized 1.52 crore, followed by 1.44 crore on day 7, 1.27 crore on day 8 and 2.52 crores on day 9.

On the second Sunday (the tenth day), earnings jumped a little. According to Sacnilk, the film made 2.52 crore rupees, bringing its domestic box office total to 25.76 crore rupees. Despite the release of Chhawa, the film has crossed the ₹25 crore mark in India, even if its run at the box office isn’t speedy.

The Diplomat, made on a budget of just 20 crore rupees, is yet another box office success for John Abraham. The film has also done well on the global front, raking in 31.50 crore rupees internationally to date.

The Diplomat is directed by Shivam Nair under the T-Series banner. John Abraham plays real-life diplomat JP Singh, while Sadia Khateeb plays Uzma Ahmed, a married woman trapped in Pakistan. On the work front, John Abraham has Tehran, a political thriller slated for release, and may also appear in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming Pathaan 2.
