Jagatguru Rambhadracharya Criticises Use Of Animal Fat In Tirupati Temple Prasad

Ayodhya: Jagatguru Rambhadracharya has expressed his outrage over the use of animal fat in the laddu prasad at the Tirupati Balaji temple, stating that it has hurt Hindu sentiments. In an interview with ABP News, he claimed that such practices are an affront to Hindu culture and suggested that they reflect a broader conspiracy against Sanatan Dharma.

Rambhadracharya argued that the influences of Christian and Islamic cultures are detrimental to Hinduism, asserting, “This insult will be avenged, and we are preparing for this.” He announced plans to establish a Sanatan Board, which he believes will oversee and control all temples to safeguard Hindu traditions.

The spiritual leader also called for changes in the Tirupati temple management, praising the government elected in Maharashtra for its commitment to Hindu Sanatan Dharma. He backed Prime Minister Modi’s assertion that Congress is akin to a “tukde tukde gang,” agreeing with the Prime Minister’s sentiments.

Rambhadracharya is no stranger to controversy; he previously faced backlash for comments about prominent political figures, including Mulayam Singh Yadav and Kanshi Ram, which led the Allahabad High Court to issue him a notice. Additionally, his remarks regarding a specific caste in Bihar, stating that those who do not chant “Jai Shri Ram” belong to that group, have stirred significant unrest among supporters of the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.

As the discourse around religious identity and cultural integrity intensifies, Rambhadracharya’s statements underscore a growing demand among some Hindu leaders for a unified approach to preserving their traditions.
