Indian Army’s Initiative To Help Kashmir Students Crack Medical Entrance Exams

New Delhi: Indian Army has launched an initiative to help students in northern Kashmir prepare for competitive medical exams.

Named ‘Army HPCL Kashmir Super 50’, it will provide free preparatory coaching for medical college aspirants from weak financial background, so that they can crack entrance exams like National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022. Registration for NEET 2022 is yet to begin.

A group of 30 boys and 20 girls have been identified for the special coaching. The Army will also sponsor fees of students who manage to get admission in medical colleges.

The idea is to encourage the youth to think about their future seriously, as the situation in north Kashmir is moving towards normalcy.

“In North Kashmir, the security situation is stable. It is moving towards normalcy. Once you look at the benchmarks, there are many positives. Terror instances are going down. The tourism sector is looking up, and more students are going to schools,” Major General SS Slaria, GOC, Kilo Force, told ANI.
