Tel Aviv: The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) has made a laudable stride in operations in Gaza. The IDF Tuesday, which is one of the military forces of Israel, made a public announcement that Abd al-Hadi Saba, a senior member of Hamas Nukhba forces, was eliminated in a drone strike operated in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis. Saba, according to credible IDF and Shin Bet sources, was the mastermind behind the terrorist attack.
According to military sources in Israel, it was on December 31 that the attack was to take place when Saba was on a visit to a relief camp located in Kahn Yunis. He was blamed for the pressure cooker of hostages in the assault on Kibbutz Nir Oz, besides this devastation, and had become a key actor in other assaults on Israeli defence forces based on the current Gaza conflict.
His elimination is a step taken by Shin Bet in this exceptional operation, which is aimed at giving punishment to the people who were involved in the operations of October 7. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a query to Shia Yesegers on what the plan was concerning the militants that were involved in the Kibbutz Nir attacks. His predetermined operation in Gaza was to identify the militants and go as far as neutralising them all who were involved in the event of the 7th of October.
While the war began on October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime has constantly bombarded the Gazans with missiles. A report by the Gaza health ministry revealed that Palestinians have suffered 45,541 casualties and 108,338 injuries in the brutal shelling that the Israeli military has pounded in parts of Gaza.
A tangled operation last week saw the Israeli military invading the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of Gaza, burning it down, and taking its director. The IDF says it has arrested 240 suspects that are directly connected to terror cells during this operation.
To compound this, at the latest United Nations briefing on Tuesday, Israel’s attacks on health assets were revealed. From the period of October 12, 2023, to June 30, 2024, there were 136 attacks carried out in Israel on a minimum of 27 hospitals and twelve other health facilities.
