Mumbai: Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has announced his separation from wife Natasha Stankovic after four years of being together. The couple, who had been the subject of months of speculation, confirmed their decision on Thursday.
Hardik took to social media to share the news, stating, “After being together for 4 years, Natasa and I have decided to separate from mutual consent. We tried together and gave it our all and we believe that this is in the best interest for both of us. It was a difficult decision.”
The announcement follows recent posts by Natasha, which had fueled rumors about their split. She recently shared a photo on social media from her hometown in Serbia, captioned “Home Sweet Home,” indicating her return to her roots. Earlier, Natasha was seen with their son Agastya at the Mumbai airport, carrying a suitcase, which further intensified the speculation about her departure from India.
The couple’s relationship has been in the public eye since they got engaged on January 1, 2020. They married on May 31, 2020, in an intimate ceremony. The duo then celebrated their union again in February 2023, honoring both Hindu and Christian traditions.
In May 2024, rumors of a rift between Hardik and Natasha started making rounds, which have now been confirmed with the announcement of their separation. Despite their efforts to make the relationship work, the couple decided that parting ways was the best course of action for both.
Fans and followers have expressed their support and sympathy for both Hardik and Natasha during this challenging time, wishing them strength and privacy as they navigate through this new phase of their lives.
