New Delhi: Hafiz Saeed, who stands responsible for numerous terrorist events, has issued a sinister warning that has caused widespread fear throughout India. The video circulating throughout Pakistan shows Saeed threatening bloodshed by declaring that stopping the water supply will lead to blood filling the river. The intelligence agencies of Pakistan are said to be responsible for disseminating this alarming warning, which has caused mounting tensions between the two nations during a period where armed attacks against Indian citizens became a concern in Pahalgam.

The violent incident that killed defenceless civilians forced the Indian government to launch immediate countermeasures against Pakistan’s support for terrorist activities. India took two countermeasures, after which the country first suspended the Indus Water Treaty and secondly expelled Pakistani military advisers and defence officials based in New Delhi. Through these forceful measures, India demonstrates its commitment to counter the persistent terrorist threats coming from its bordering regions.

Pakistan descended into panic following India’s actions, thus forcing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to gather the National Security Committee for developing emergency response plans. Pakistan faces growing challenges to manage the consequences as Hafiz Saeed keeps making provocative statements which intensify hostility since Indian government officials continue to declare these statements represent direct threats to national security.

After the spike of Indian diplomatic pressure, Saifullah Khalid Kasuri established a strategic distance from the Pahalgam operation. Pakistan’s terrorists understand that India will no longer accept their extremist actions because of their denials.

The Cabinet Committee on Security approved a two-and-a-half-hour meeting which led to an immediate closure of the Wagah-Attari border that serves as the only operational crossing point between India and Pakistan. The government of India has sent away all their diplomatic personnel stationed in Pakistan to break military and diplomatic communication pathways from both countries. The developing strained relations between India and Pakistan have entered a fresh chapter.

India strengthens its anti-terrorism position by demonstrating tough measures against Pakistan-sponsored violence while working to protect its citizens from terrorist attacks. Through prominent terrorist Hafiz Saeed’s social media activities, India has declared its stern determination to face all forms of aggression, which includes both terror acts and water attacks.
