From Girls’ Night To Hospital Night: The Mystery Surrounding Saif Ali Khan’s Attack

Mumbai: Acclaimed actor Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital in the early hours of Thursday after being stabbed multiple times during a home invasion at his Bandra residence in a shocking incident that has sent ripples through the Indian film industry. The 54-year-old actor is currently recuperating from the treatment of his injuries, and there have been questions about where his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, was as the attack took place.

According to hospital sources, Khan was admitted at approximately 3.30 AM. The report says Stephens was found at  with six stab wounds, two of which are believed to be severe. The assailant broke into the actor’s home while he was there with his two young sons, Taimur, 8, and Jeh, 4.

Kareena’s Girls’ Night Out
Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Instagram activity has created the rumours that Khan was somewhere else when the incident happened. Just eight hours before the attack, the actress shared a picture of something laid out drinks on a table, which her sister Karisma Kapoor had posted. Kareena was reportedly out for a girls’ night with Karisma, as well as friends Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, reports said.

Unanswered Questions
Kareena’s social media post at the same time that she and her husband faced an attack has left tongues wagging. It is unclear when the gathering ended, but media reports say Kareena was not spotted coming back home, spawning theories about her whereabouts during the incident.

Family’s Response
No official word has come from Kareena or her family yet regarding the attack. Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, the couple’s older children, who stay separately, have not been seen at the hospital.

Police Investigation
Mumbai Police is conducting a thorough investigation into the assault and the break-in. They’re now checking security footage and interviewing witnesses to try to reconstruct the night.
