Hyderabad: There is more trouble for jailed ex-Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu.
The state’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) has registered another case against the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief, based on allegations of granting illegal permissions to liquor companies, reported India Today.
Naidu has been named as accused No. 3 in this case, which also falls under Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act.
The CID filed a petition in Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court, which granted permission for CID action.
Naidu, who was arrested on September 9 for alleged misappropriation of funds from Skill Development Corporation, is currently lodged in Rajamahendravaram central prison.
