New Delhi: Former Israeli Deputy Defense Minister Meir Masri, in a social media post, said, “After Iran, it will be Pakistan to bomb its nuclear facilities,” which raised concerns and stiff reactions in the country, the reports said on June 20, 2025, adding, “In the ongoing war between Israel and Iran, the public of Pakistan was expressing concern and vigorous reaction.”
In a post on X, Masri, a former Labour Party member, said, ‘We may want to dismantle Pakistan’s nuclear program after Iran—the campaign is out there, though. Pakistan is not too far from Iran— The message, dated June 18, comes amid an increase in attacks Israel has launched against nuclear sites in Iran since June 13. Masri has no government ties currently, but his political claim to Israeli politics has raised concern in Pakistan.
The comments come as a second old video was resurfaced on the very question of safely containing a nuke-capable leader in the transport of doing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, designating Pakistan & Iran as nuke-armed states & enemies of Israel.
